The creative team behind STANDING CLEAR will be joined by representatives
from
NYPIRG
Straphangers Campaign.
Straphangers
Campaign
has been instrumental in many of the positive changes to the
MTA experience over the past 30 years, from improved conditions
to fares that are fair. They have made it possible for the
public to voice their concerns to the MTA and made necessary
that they are heard.
This
will be a chance to put STANDING CLEAR into the broader social
discussion of transport in New York City and broach the ever
growing elephant in the room: our impact on the environment.
Public transport is a vital and viable alternative to many
of our urban environmental issues, and we hope STANDING CLEAR
makes it seem a little bit more fun and a lot more attractive
of an option. |
